The Information Minister said, since 2008, we have been elected in alliance. Earlier also nominations were given in about 300 seats. Later adjustments were made within the Grand Alliance. Last time too, almost all the seats were nominated and later coordinated with the coalition. This time nominations have been given in 298 seats. First of all, we have said that we will have a coalition election. It was announced by our party.

He said, this time 71-72 MPs of our party have been dropped, some candidates are dropped in every election. This time it was already said that those who have fallen behind in the popularity race, who have been controversial for any reason, will not be nominated. As a result, many candidates have dropped out, it is normal to drop out.

He also said that many political parties have announced plans to participate in the elections. Many BNP leaders have announced to contest the election under the Trinamool BNP leadership or otherwise. We are hoping for massive public participation. More important than which party participates is whether the public participates.

Hasan Mahmud said that those who were elected unopposed in 2014 had to pay a fine. Now while reminding that she (Sheikh Hasina) said that she did not say it for our party. Said not to discourage it if it wants to be. That doesn't mean that our party is told.

When asked whether the nomination of Awami League's central leader in Menon's seat is creating an embarrassing situation, the Information Minister said, of course not. Almost all the seats have been nominated. Where the leaders of the alliance will be elected and we will agree and coordinate with them, then the necessary measures will be taken.
