Meningitis is of various types, such as bacterial meningitis, Neustria meningitis, viral meningitis, etc. Viral meningitis is caused by various types of viruses. These are spread through sneezing, coughing and poor hygiene.
In addition, Umrah passengers have been urged to get vaccinated against coronavirus, influenza, and polio. In particular, a polio vaccination certificate has been made mandatory for Pakistani citizens. At the same time, transit passengers in Afghanistan, Kenya, Congo, and Mozambique will also have to get polio vaccination.
The Saudi Civil Aviation Authority (SCAA) has urged travelers to comply with these conditions. This new policy is expected to play a role in reducing health risks during Umrah and other travel.
